About this property
This is a spacious 3-bedroom Portuguese-style home built in 1941, located on Divar Island. Set on a fully gated property, it features high ceilings, a cosy loft, side terrace and large landscaped backyard. A few well-known local Goan restaurants serving traditional food are located within a 5-10 minute radius, some offering catering. The island is accessible by ferry, with the nearest ferry point about a 5 minute drive away, making Old Goa and Panjim easy to reach while still feeling secluded.
Tucked away on the serene Divar Island, set on a fully gated property, the house is surrounded by lush, landscaped gardens with shaded trees and stone pathways as well as a side terrace. Inside, high ceilings, a large living room, dining area, and cozy loft create an airy yet homey feel.
Mornings here are noticeably cooler than mainland Goa, with greenery all around and a calm island atmosphere. A large open field is just a minute walk away from the house perfect for exploring, with small lakes and streams if you wander further.
Parking is available inside the compound for up to four medium cars (or three large ones), with space for bikes as well.
Guests have access to the entire house and property, including the backyard, veranda, and rear patio with seating. The outdoor spaces are open for guests to use and explore freely.
